Pour the chicken stock into a slow cooker, and stir in the rice, onion, salsa, green chilies, and half the taco seasoning. From previous experience I would not cook rice in the slow cooker. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred, using two forks. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. If the soup is too thick, add more half and half as needed until desired consistency is reached.
